Panacur rabbit is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic given orally as an aid in the control and treatment of Encephalitozoon cuniculi (E. cuniculi/EC/E.Culi) and intestinal worms in domestic rabbits. E. cuniculi is a widespread protozoan parasite of rabbits responsible for serious illness in rabbits, including neurologic disease, eye problems, and kidney failure. Panacur Rabbit is indicated as an aid in the control of this parasite. Panacur Rabbit can be used as part of a preventative healthcare plan. Dosing should also be considered during periods of higher risk, such as when the rabbit is acquired and when mixing with other rabbits.
